Q1: Are MAG-180VP-6000 and MAG-230VP-6000 directly interchangeable?
A: No, they are not directly interchangeable. The displacement, housing mounting flange, and internal flow distribution structure are different; although the reduction ratio is the same (60), the torque and flow requirements are different. Forcing an installation will result in insufficient power and overheating.
Q2: What does the "G" at the end of the model number represent? Is there a difference between versions without "G"?
A: "G" represents the valve body assembly version; the port layout and built-in balance valve parameters are slightly different. Orders must include the complete model number MAG-180VP-6000G to avoid incorrect oil passage positions.
Q3: Can I buy only the motor head and keep the existing planetary reducer?
A: Yes, but the output spline and flange mounting dimensions must be checked; prioritize replacing the entire assembly to prevent abnormal clearances and premature wear between new and old components.
Q4: How should the drain port be connected? Can it be blocked?
A: Blocking the drain port is strictly prohibited. The drain line returns directly to the oil tank, with a back pressure ≤0.1MPa. Continuous oil leakage inside the motor housing can cause blockage, leading to increased pressure in the housing, damage to the oil seal, and even bursting. All transport plugs must be removed before installation.
Q5: Is it necessary to bleed the motor after installation?
A: It must be bleed under no-load and at low speed. For new machines or after repairs, first loosen the drain line connector and jog the machine at low speed until no air bubbles flow out, then tighten it. Air will cause abnormal noise, cavitation, and shaking during movement.
Q6: What is the standard pilot pressure for fast/slow speed switching?
A: The standard pilot switching pressure is 1.8~2.5 MPa. Too low a pressure will prevent switching to high speed, while too high a pressure will cause a large impact during switching.
Q7: What are the brake release pressure requirements?
A: The spring brake will automatically release when the main travel oil circuit pressure is established. Forcibly driving the tracks while the high-pressure brake is not released is extremely dangerous and can easily burn out the friction plates.
