The Working Principle Of The Electric Hydraulic Pump

I. Core Essence
The essence of an electric hydraulic pump:
Convert electrical energy → mechanical energy → hydraulic energy output high-pressure oil to drive hydraulic cylinders / hydraulic motors.
II. Overall Structure 
A complete electric hydraulic pump consists five parts:
Motor -- Power source
Hydraulic pump body (gear pump / vane pump / plunger pump) -- Produce high-pressure oilOil tank -- Store oil, cool, and settle impurities
Control valve group
Pressure relief valve (pressure adjustment, pressure limiting, safety protection)
Directional valve ( the direction of oil flow)
Check valve (maintain pressure, prevent backflow)

Oil pipes, fittingsIII. Detailed Workflow (Explain step by step)
Step 1: Motor rotation -- Provide power
Connect the power source, and the motor rotates at high.
Electric energy → Rotating mechanical energy.
Step 2: Hydraulic pump suction -- Form low pressure
The motor drives the internal rotor / gear / pl of the hydraulic pump to rotate:
The volume inside the pump changes from small to large, creating a vacuum suction force
The hydraulic oil in the tank is sucked into the through the filter
This step is called: Suction process
Step 3: Hydraulic pump pressure oil -- Produce high pressure
The pump continues to rotate, and the volume changes from large to small:
The oil is forcibly squeezed and compressed
The pressure suddenly rises, turning into high-pressure oil
This step is called: Pressure process
Step 4: High-pressure oil is delivered to the actuator
High-pressure oil passes through:
Check valve → Directional valve → Oil pipe → Cinder / hydraulic motor
High-pressure oil pushes:
Cylinder piston extends / retracts (lifting, pushing, clamping)
Or hydraulic motor rotation ( wheels, turntable)
Step 5: Return oil back to the tank
The low-pressure oil after the actuator works is returned to the tank through the return oil,
Complete a cycle.
Step 6: Pressure relief valve pressure stabilization and protection (key safety principle)
When the pressure exceeds the set value, the pressure relief valve
Excess oil flows directly back to the tank
Prevent pressure from being too high to blow the pipe, burst the pump, and burn the motor
This is the principle limiting pressure, stabilizing pressure, and overload protection.
